Deborah A. Auger, Ph.D. (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 1988), is an Associate Professor in the School of Public Policy and Administration.  She serves on the Editorial Board of Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly.  She has published numerous reports and articles on nonprofit and social policy issues, and has served as a Visiting Scholar at the Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy at the Urban Institute in Washington, DC.  Dr. Auger has conducted many national and local training initiatives for nonprofit professionals, including nonprofit leadership training for AmeriCorps members in the Mid-Atlantic region, for state and national United Way personnel, and for members of the Delaware Association of Nonprofit Agencies.  She has worked extensively with national and local nonprofit leaders in Japan and also worked with persons interested in nonprofit development from the Ukraine, Vietnam, Tanzania, Jordan, and the UK, among others.
