The CCRS Nonprofit Resource Library, located in our Wilmington Office, has holdings of over 2,000 volumes including books, journals, reports and census data that any member of the community may use. A wide range of information on topics of interest to both nonprofit and community-based development organizations is available. The Resource Library is open Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Wilmington Nonprofit Resource Library is proud to be a Cooperating Collection site of the Foundation Center since 2006. Cooperating Collections are free funding information centers in libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit resource centers that provide a core collection of Foundation Center publications and a variety of supplementary materials and services in areas useful to grantseekers. The library offers access to the Foundation Center Online Directory of grantmakers in addition to many print resources
As part of their engagement with the community, CCRS faculty and staff provide a variety of technical assistance, training and management support to community-based nonprofit organizations and government entities. Technical assistance is available on a variety of topics including board governance, strategic planning, and fundraising. Longer-term and more sustained assistance is also available to provide support for on-going initiatives in planning, program development and evaluation.
