Professional Development

We provide a variety of professional development opportunities designed for community leaders, practicing professionals and other interested individuals. These programs, ranging from short seminars to 14-week certificate programs, give dedicated professionals the skills they need to promote social and economic justice within their communities and organizations.

A mainstay in our professional development opportunties, the Nonprofit Management Certificate Course is currently running its 21st class!  This 16 week certificate course has been training nonprofit professionals for over two decades and providing them with the skills, knowledge and tools to effectively and efficiently run their organizations.  Learn more about the course and registration process.

Technical Assistance

Stronger community organizations build stronger communities. As part of their engagement with the community, CCRS faculty and staff provide a variety of technical assistance, training and management support to community-based nonprofit organizations and government entities.  Technical assistance is available on a variety of topics including board governance, strategic planning, and fundraising. Longer-term and more sustained assistance has been provided to support on-going initiatives in planning, program development and evaluation.
